Sagitta

Sagitta 2004

As a true beginners we bought our first Bull Terrier. We didn´t know anything about some standart or enything else. Once we were at our country housea friend of ours told us about available liltter. So we went there to have a look and we reserved one girl. We had an opportunity to see both parents and the breeder recommended us a suitable puppy. The time showed that it was really great choice. Sagitta (Adria Dan Barry) is wonderful. She has got great behaviour, she loves people and other dogs. She is often and intensivly showing us her love. Of course we were going with Sagitta to the dog school and it was always very funny with her. She liked it there for the first five minutes and than she started to sabotage the training. On the shows it was the same. She was expressing to us what she things about it. After we got the judgement which she needed to have puppies, we stopped going to the shows with her. We had great time with her first litter. We kept one of the puppy, Aischa, even if we didn´t plan it. Sagitta had puppies one more time but this time she had choosen the father for the puppies by herself, in a park. And be sure it wasn´t a Bull Terrier. Sagitta loves walks in the forest, she is exploring all the pugs of the animals. In the beginning she was a bit disappointed with Aischa, because Aischa didn´t want to hunt in the forest with her. She just wanted to retrieve sticks all the time. Sagitta is also a big turfman. She loves to watch the horserace. Now she is enjoying her retairment an we call her our "Bull Terrier Dinosaurus".

Dusty

Dustik

Dusty is first boy in our kennel. I brought him in late November 2005, so he was our lovely Christmas present. Our girls accepted him quite well.Sagitta wasn´t as enthusiastic that she has got little Bull Terrier rascal at home, but Aischa was happy that she has somebody to play with.    As a puppy Dusty was little bit furious and stubborn, so ti took a lots of patience to persuade, him that he really can not do everything he wants. After getting over this defiance, I realized that Dusty is very smart and that he learns new things very quickly. We very much enjoyed the dog school and we also started to prepare for the hunting trials.       Dusty is very clever. He even learned how to open the door. It is very funny because now, he is like the king of our house.      Unfortunately a serious heart disorder appeared at his 10 months, so we had to restrain our activities. Dusty has excellent behaviour, he likes cuddling and he is quite curious boy. He is bravely fighting his handicap and he is my big darling.

Sad to say, Dusty died on 11th of July 2007. I am grateful that I could be with him till his last moment. He died in my arms and he was unbeliveably brave. It is painful if you know, that this is the end. That your best friend, dog which you love so much, is passing away. He was only 21 months old. I miss him so much. I miss his pushing me out of the pillow, our morning fights and cuddling. He was my lovely little boy.
